Do people say you sound and look like a music star?

If so, Pepper wants to hear from you.

What do you have to do?

Pepper is looking for people (18 years plus) who sound like, and ideally bear more than a passing resemblance to, a variety of music stars from the past 60 years; In particular:-

Louis Armstrong
Billie Holiday
Aretha Franklin
Kylie Minogue
Bobby Darrin
Eddie Cochrane
Joe Strummer
Davy Jones - Monkees
Elton John
Mick Jagger
Paul McCartney
Paul Weller
John Lennon
Chrissie Hynde - Pretenders

Only the committed need apply! Successful applicants must be available for all the performances shown on the right.

When auditioning, performers must sing two songs; one representing the artist they are auditioning for and one song of their own choice. A pianist will be available so, if possible, please bring sheet music or a tape containing required backing tracks.

Performers who are unable to provide any of those items should be able to sing ‘a cappella’. Each performer will audition in front of a panel of specially selected judges including Gareth Lloyd from BBC 3 Counties Radio and fellow would be performers.

Young performers have not been forgotten. Special Pepper Youth auditions will be held shortly; look out for further details in the local press and on the pepper website.

Details of the storyline are a closely guarded secret and will be released at the launch party – but rest assured, it will be a truly wonderful event.

This year’s director is Paul Eccentric and the producer is Ali Robertson, both well known Pepper personalities.
