 Barclays Bank Sponsored Canal Walk
More than 30 Barclays Bank employees from 12 branches across the Chilterns Region participated in a sponsored canal walk on 20th July this year. The walk was organised by Chilterns Area Manager Richard Doran. The team raised £1200 for Pepper in sponsorship, which will be doubled under the Barclays pound for pound matched giving scheme.
Sadly the weather on the day was described as “somewhat wet” as the group set off from Cow Roast Pub & Restaurant between Berkhamsted and Tring. They enjoyed themselves nevertheless but the hot food on the barbeque generously provided free of charge by Magoos was a welcome sight for the walkers.23rd July 2009 Recent News |
