Jazz at The Cock Inn, Sarratt

“Sparky’s All Stars”, plus guest musicians and vocalists, started the New Year off with a bang at the Cock Inn, Sarratt. Customers were treated to an afternoon full of top-class jazz: various styles but all performed with great enthusiasm and skill. The pub was packed and there was a fun atmosphere with both customers and staff enjoying the music.

The Cock Inn, Sarratt, has live music every Sunday afternoon and some of the sessions are done for charity. This was our lucky day with the proceeds going to Pepper. There was a raffle with tickets being sold by Beverley who did a fantastic job extracting money from just about everyone present. The raffle, together with donations from the musicians, raised an incredible amount of £451.60. A big ‘thank you’: both to Ian Harrison for organising this event for Pepper and to all his guests. Our thanks, also to Beverley and our hosts Marion and Brian whose continued support for Pepper is greatly appreciated.
