Operations, Support & Event Co-ordinator – part-time 20 hrs 

Maternity Leave cover – up to 12 months fixed term contract

Salary – £14,500 circa (20hrs)

Our small independent charity based in Tring, Hertfordshire is looking to recruit an Operations, Support & Event Co-ordinator to cover maternity leave for a period of up to 12 months from September.  You will join a small team of 3 part-time staff and provide admin support across all our activities to the charity and its Trustees.

A key part of the role will be to organise and deliver external fundraising events. Whilst events have been suspended during the last 18 months events will continue to form a key element to our fundraising strategy. You will therefore need to be able to demonstrate skills and experience in event management.

Role overview – The main objectives of the role are
  • To ensure the smooth running of the charity through the effective organisation and maintenance of its admin operation.  Manage the day-to-day communications on behalf of the charity.
  • To enhance the charity’s reputation through effective marketing and communication to current and potential donors and supporters via website, newsletter etc
  • To take the lead in planning and organising key events in the fundraising calendar
  • To deliver engaging family events programme

Occasional evening and weekend work will form part of the role including providing admin support to Trustee meetings, therefore flexible working is a requirement.
