Picnic for Pepper
Your club, school or family can host a Picnic for Pepper to help raise vital funds and awareness for Children’s Hospice at Home care – and all while having fun!
What is a Picnic for Pepper?
The Pepper Foundation are asking the community to raise money for their small, local charity The Pepper Foundation by hosting a picnic!
Your Picnic for Pepper can be as big or as small as you like, in any location you like, for whatever price you like.
For instance – fancy a small picnic for your immediate family in your back garden? No problem! Want to invite your work colleagues and friends to a park for a big celebration at £15 a ticket? Count us in! Are you holding a Teddy Bears’ Picnic for your school’s reception class for £1 per child? We will be there! It is completely your choice – and that’s what makes this so much fun! (But, if you do need advice or tips, contact Ruth on rproudfoot@pepper.org.uk any time.)

Why host a Picnic?
This a great, easy and cost-effective way to get your friends and loved ones together in the name of a good cause, some fresh air and yummy food, too.
And if you are hosting a child-friendly picnic, it will be a great way to get the next generation thinking about charitable causes and how raising money can be lots of fun. Teddy Bears should always be welcome!
We would be so touched if you can host a Picnic for Pepper this summer. Because we are such a small charity, every penny really does make such a huge difference to us and families in the nursing care. Take a look at Jessica’s story here.
If you have any questions, or would like to tell us about your picnic (as we might be able to bring our mascot along!), please get in touch with Ruth on rproudfoot@pepper.org.uk or call us on 01442 507324.
Thank you – and happy picnicking!
