Please describe the charity:

The Pepper Foundation is a small charity with the aim to alleviate the suffering of children diagnosed with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, primarily through the funding of a small team of six children’s hospice at home nurses and a healthcare assistant.

These specialist nurses provide paediatric care for children living with serious illnesses in Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Care is provided free of charge in patients’ own homes and the nurses are unique to the area in that they are available 24 hours a day, all year round.

Please explain how the charity will benefit from the donation

The Pepper Foundation is a lean charity with an annual income of £300,000 and three part-time members of staff managed by a Board of volunteer Trustees, therefore we rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters.

The help we receive from organisations such as yours makes a huge difference to our ability to fund much-needed care, respite, stability and most importantly hope, for families at a time when they need it most.
