What a week! The curtain has come down on the Pepper Show 2026 after a joyful, action-packed celebration of music, performance and community. Even after 37 years of putting on the show, the incredible support it receives still amazes us, and this year was no exception!
A show truly comes alive when the audience arrives, and you certainly brought the buzz! More than 1,300 people came through the doors during the week, filling the theatre with energy and making every rehearsal, preparation and performance feel completely worthwhile. A huge and heartfelt thank you to every single person who joined us!
The excitement doesn’t stop there, the 2027 Pepper Show is already booked! We’ll share more details in due course, but for now the Pepper Show team is taking a very well-earned bow… and a well-earned break!
Let’s hear it for our amazing team! Pepper Show week sparkles because so many wonderful people give their time, energy and talent. Please join us in giving a huge round of applause to:
-
Our front-of-house volunteers, whose warm welcome sets the tone from the moment guests arrive. From managing seating and selling raffle tickets and programmes to providing first-aid support, assisting visitors with mobility requirements and handling countless other details, you are absolute stars, and we simply couldn’t do it without you!
-
Our marketing volunteers, who keep the Pepper Show firmly in the spotlight by selling programme advertising, photographing the cast, putting up roadside banners and doing so much more. Thank you for spreading the word far and wide!
-
The cast of the Pepper Show. Everyone you see on stage is a volunteer who spends months rehearsing and preparing, and what a show they gave us! Their commitment, enthusiasm and talent are nothing short of extraordinary.
-
The Production team, the dedicated group within the cast whose work begins months before rehearsals. Their behind-the-scenes planning and preparation turn big ideas into show-stopping reality!
-
The Musical Directors, who score the songs, lead weekly rehearsals and make sure everyone knows exactly what they’re singing and playing. Their fantastic expertise keeps the music sounding top-notch from the first note to the final flourish!
-
The house band and the Pepper Youth band, whose brilliant playing fills the theatre, powers every performance and keeps the whole show buzzing with energy!
-
The Pepper Youth Chaperones, who cheer on and support our younger cast members throughout rehearsals and show week, always keeping their safety and well-being at the heart of everything they do. We’re so grateful for your care and dedication!
